Visual identity proposal for the Swiss publishing house Cousu Mouche. My concept is based on diversity, reflecting the wide variety of novels they publish in all genres. The aim is to underline the publisher's versatility, able to speak to a wide range of readers.
To illustrate this diversity, I reworked an existing typeface by deconstructing it into shapes, and then recomposing the letters of the name “Cousu Mouche”. Each letter is available in three variants, allowing a different combination to be used for the logo each time. This modularity evokes the uniqueness of the readers and publications, which gather to form a whole: the publishing house.
